OUR STORY
redefining bread. because your gut drives how you look and feel.
Vagus exists to fix the everyday staples that work against your gut — starting with bread.

A NOTE
I started modeling at 15, believing the smaller you were, the more you booked.
For years I chased every version of “healthy” the industry sold me: veganism, intermittent fasting, days of barely eating followed by days I couldn't stop. None of it made me feel the way I thought it would.
It took me almost seven years to step back and finally pay attention to what my body was craving and why. That's when I learned that the gut and brain are wired together by an actual nerve — the vagus nerve. And that what I ate was talking directly to how I looked, how I felt, how I thought. The bloating that came out of nowhere, the puffy eyes, the midday energy crashes... I finally felt like I'd hacked myself.
The fix wasn't a pill or a powder. It was simpler: my everyday food. The dense, seeded bread I grew up eating in Germany. I lost it the moment I moved to the US. Bringing it back was the first thing that actually worked. So I asked myself: why does a food industry built to feed people keep producing something that doesn't?
Vagus is that same bread, built for anyone whose gut has been trying to tell them something too.

the vision
We envision a future where nobody has to choose between the staples they love and the way they want to feel — where better-for-you isn’t a swap you make, it’s just what food already is.
VAGUS IS BUILD ON THREE PRINCIPLES
less is more
less is more
In what's on the ingredient list. In how much you need. In what we ask you to change.
IT'S ALL GUT
IT'S ALL GUT
Your gut and brain are directly linked. Feed your microbiome, and mood, energy, how you look and feel will follow.
food is medicine
food is medicine
In pumpkin seeds instead of a multivitamin. In psyllium instead of a fiber pill. In what you eat, not what you take after.
why “vagus”?
